Sweet Exhale

Sweet Exhale is about the physical release and a mental release from hang ups. It is loving and at the same time ripe and slightly uncomfortable. Fruit is used to show natural freshness and at the same time hint at something more.

Ruth Munro is a British freelance illustrator who graduated from the Uni of Brighton in 2008. She has worked across a wide variety of media including printed textile design, editorial, promotion, advertising and branding and regularly exhibits work in the UK and internationally. She likes all things quirky, scary and surreal, drawing inspiration from dusty attic treasures, behavioural ponderings, a desolate art film or two, unnerving animals and nature.
